Music ministry · A Joyful Noise
Make a joyful noise.

Humans come into the world already strung to God. Music is one of the first languages of that wire. We want children to make a joyful noise to the Creator — not someday, not if they can rent a horn — in their own hands, this year.
A Joyful Noise is a restricted fund of Sacred Light Ministries. Our floor is 100 instruments a year, for children ages 8 to 18. Each gift of an instrument comes with a one-year online lesson subscription for that instrument — so the noise has a teacher, not just a case in the closet.
If you lead a church or ministry and want help growing a music program — sound, songs, a band that can carry a Sunday — write us. If you have kids who want to learn to praise God through music, send a message or apply below. Need is enough. This is a gift, not a loan. We may not honor every request the same week; we will keep the promise of one hundred, year after year, as the fund allows.
Our partner Hardwire Studios provides sound, recording, mixing, and support for live worship and performance. We are grateful for their craft.
You can find Stephen and Sakiel playing worship somewhere in the Hill Country multiple times a week, every week. A few of the houses they have played this month are below. If you would like this ministry to visit yours, write through the contact form.

Ask for an instrument
A parent or guardian applies for a child ages 8–18. We do not need a full legal name or a school address on this form. The instrument is a gift. The lesson year travels with it.
